General advice on investing
When investing losses may occur due to incorrect assumption or expectation. More important than a correct expectation, is money management. Managing your assets should be carefully done, so I recommend applying the following rules.
1. Always use a stop loss and let this stop loss move along in the direction of trade (obviously depending on the investment);
2. Never put more than 10% of your money in investments;
3. Only invest with your own money; do not borrow money to make investments;
4. Never go along with the first best move, but select entry and exit times carefully;
5. Be content with profit and don’t go for maximum profit;
6. Always act in the movement of the trend, countertrend trading is dangerous;
7. Choose a form of investment that fits with you as a person (do you have sleepless nights? Then don’t do it).
